Payment Integration

Bookseller Link offers PayPal payment linked with a PayPal shopping cart as standard. Bookseller Link feeds your PayPal cart with the book price, special price and postal costs and everything else PayPal needs to complete the transaction.

We consciously choose PayPal as the payment system as we feel it offers the greatest protection with relatively low charges, making it ideal for small second-hand bookseller businesses and hobby booksellers to sell on-line.

Baby on with PayPal screen PayPal is commonly used, and many on-line shoppers are familiar with, and already have, a PayPal account, so it's relatively easy for them to buy from you. For those that do not have a PayPal account, they can still pay for books bought from you through PayPal's standard credit or debit card payment system.

The great thing about PayPal is that it doesn't share people's bank or card details. That means that you, as a seller, don't have to worry about losing a customer's confidential data.

When a buyer pays for a book on your website using the PayPal checkout, it be will automatically marked as sold on your booklist. You will receive two emails, a general PayPal payment email plus a detailed email from Bookseller Link that gives you:

Full buyer details
The book description including a photo of the book
Your pre-entered book location to make it easy to find the right shelf or box
Amount paid for the book
Amount paid for postage (plus the postal zone selected)
How much the PayPal charge was on the sale

If you already have a PayPal account it will take a few seconds to enter your PayPal account email address in the Bookseller Link Admin panel. Your books will then instantly be available for online sale which will be automatically processed through your PayPal account. If you do not have an existing PayPal account, you will need to set one up with PayPal before you can accept payments through your Bookseller Link website.
